Welcome to Class 8
Hello and welcome to our Class 8 webpage!! There are 34 children in our class, 9 of who are Year 4s and the rest are all Year 5s. Here are some pictures of our Teacher Mr Hickman and our helpers Mrs Allen and Miss Uren. |

| In Science we have been learning about different types of materials, such as solids, liquids and gasses. We have carried out experiements to find out about reversible and irreversible changes and now know that we can separate a liquid from a solid using the processes of evaporation and condensation. |

Harvest Time Harvest time, apples ripen, Crops have been gathered, new crops sown. Farm shops packed with produce, Share the harvest. It?s for me, you and everybody, We thank the lord for all our food. By Class 8.
| In ICT we have taken the poems we wrote in Literacy and used Microsoft Publisher to print and illustrate them. At Harvest time we wrote a class poem to celebrate and Harvest and illustrated it using Publisher. |
 | In PE we have been learning how to play Tag Rugby and Hockey. It is great fun and we now know how to pass and dribble the ball in hockey and can play a game of Tag Rugby. We have also been learning some Cornish Dances and have had some badminton and mini squash taster days. |

In Maths and English we are following what is known as the Numeracy and Literacy Schemes that the whole country follow.
