Awards and Achievements for the School

Investors in People  

We have been an Investors in People School since 1999 and have been successfully re-accredited since that time. The award is given to organisations which value its people.

We have quite a large staff of fifty people which includes Teaching Assistants, Teachers, Dinner Supervisors, Administrators, Cleaners, Catering staff and a Groundsman. All have opportunities for training.

Visitors often remark what a happy staff we are.

Activemark (Sport England)

Given to schools which demonstrate a commitment to sport, both during and at the end of the school day. We run several extra curricular sports clubs and also have support and coaching from other local sporting organisations.

Partnership Promotion School

An award given by the TTA (Teacher Training Agency) to schools which are committed to excellence in supporting the training of students.

Early Years Quality Assurance Award

Awarded to schools which demonstrate excellence in the provision of Early Years education. The Willows Playgroup adjoining the school also has the award.

Healthy Schools Award

Which means we value healthy minds and bodies. We ensure our children understand the world around them and value others.

We want our children to keep fit, eat healthily and learn good life-long habits.
